Colonial Columns Manufacturing, Inc. has been supplying columns to the building community nationwide since 1963. We have built our reputation on quality products and service. Because we have over 40 years of experience, we are able to help you achieve the architectural effect you desire. We are large enough to supply an entire complex yet small enough to take a real interest in a two column entry.

Our Wood Shop is 100% Custom. Therefore, we are flexible in design and can accommodate unique and uncommon profiles. Also available are stain-grade columns and pilasters, stock wood, as well as ornamental capitals in both round and square configurations. Should you have any questions concerning construction or installation of columns or have a question about a specific design, we would be pleased to help. Aluminum and fiberglass columns (cast and filament wound) are also available. Historical duplications are another specialty service we provide.

We coat the interior of the column with a bituminous coating that deters rotting and insects. The exterior surfaces are seal-coated to prevent tannin bleed-through, which is common in cedar. The bases are also coated, interior and exterior.

Our wooden columns, capitals, and bases are constructed of Western Red Cedar. Columns range from 6 inches to 36 inches in diameter and lengths to 28 feet. Columns are available in round, square, plain shaft or fluted.
